뿐만 아니라 국내 최대 아트페어 Kiaf SEOUL 2025가 오는 9월 3일(수)부터 7일(일)까지 서울 강남구 코엑스에서 열린다. ‘키아프 아트위크(Kiaf Art Week)’ 기간 동안 키아프는 프리즈 서울(Frieze Seoul), 국내외 주요 미술 기관들과 협력해 다양한 프로그램을 마련하며 예술을 통한 특별한 교류의 시간을 선사한다.서울을 물들이는 9월의 예술 축제, 매년 9월 첫째 주, 키아프 서울과 프리즈 서울이 나란히 열리는 시기는 이제 서울이 예술로 물드는 대표적인 축제의 기간으로 자리매김했다. 아트페어 개막을 전후해 서울 전역에서는 특별 전시, 아트 이벤트, 협업 프로그램이 이어지며, 전 세계 미술 애호가와 일반 대중이 함께 즐기는 도시 축제의 열기가 가득 찬다. 지난달 한정 판매된 ‘키아프 서울-프리즈 서울’ 공동 할인 티켓 1,250장이 단 이틀 만에 매진되며 올해 역시 9월 미술 축제에 대한 관심이 뜨거움을 입증했다.

‘공진(Resonance)’을 주제로 한 협력의 장으로  올해 키아프 서울은 ‘공진(Resonance)’을 주제로, 단순한 미술품 거래를 넘어 한국 미술계가 함께 만들어가는 축제로 자리매김하고자 한다. 정부와 프리즈 서울, 문화예술 기관들과의 협업을 한층 강화해 지속 가능한 미술 생태계 구축을 지향한다. 공항과 도심에서 열리는 특별 전시, 지역 갤러리의 야간 개장 프로그램, 클래식 음악회 등 다채로운 행사들이 서울 전역에서 펼쳐지며, 관람객이 일상 속에서 자연스럽게 예술을 경험할 수 있도록 접점을 확장한다. “올해도 많은 이들과 예술로 소통하기 위해 페어 밖 도시 곳곳에서 협력 프로그램을 진행한다”며, “서울에서 펼쳐지는 새로운 예술의 흐름을 직접 즐기고 참여하길 기대한다”고 전했다. 인천국제공항 특별전 및 미디어아트 프로젝트는올해 5회째를 맞는 인천국제공항 공동 기획 특별전 **≪We Connect, Art & Future, Kiaf and INCHEON AIRPORT≫**은 8월 22일부터 9월 17일까지 공항 밀레니엄 홀에서 열린다. 평면 회화를 넘어 숯, 샤프심, 향불 등 실험적 재료를 활용한 작업부터 사진, 조각 등 다양한 매체를 아우른다. 또한 키아프 서울은 서울시의 ‘미디어 아트 서울(MediaArt SEOUL)’과 협력해 대규모 미디어아트 프로젝트를 선보인다. 9월 1일부터 19일까지 신세계스퀘어, 디지틀조선일보, 아뜰리에 광화, 해치마당 미디어월 등 서울 도심 주요 거점에서 전광판을 활용한 작품이 동시에 상영된다.

n addition, Korea’s largest art fair, Kiaf SEOUL 2025, will be held from September 3 (Wednesday) to September 7 (Sunday) at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. During Kiaf Art Week, Kiaf will collaborate with Frieze Seoul and leading domestic and international art institutions to present a wide range of programs, offering audiences a special opportunity to engage with art. The first week of September, when Kiaf Seoul and Frieze Seoul take place side by side, has now become a representative period when the city is transformed by art. Around the opening of the fairs, special exhibitions, art events, and collaborative programs unfold throughout Seoul, filling the city with a celebratory energy that attracts international art collectors as well as the general public.

Last month, 1,250 limited joint discount tickets for Kiaf Seoul–Frieze Seoul sold out in just two days, once again demonstrating the high level of anticipation for this September’s art festivities. This year, Kiaf Seoul is presented under the theme of “Resonance”, aiming to establish itself not merely as a marketplace for artworks but as a festival collectively shaped by the Korean art community. Kiaf is strengthening collaboration with the government, Frieze Seoul, and cultural institutions to foster a sustainable art ecosystem. From special exhibitions at airports and across the city to late-night gallery openings and classical concerts, diverse programs will be staged throughout Seoul, expanding opportunities for audiences to encounter art as a natural part of everyday life. A representative noted, “This year as well, we are organizing collaborative programs across the city, beyond the fairgrounds, to engage with more people through art. We look forward to audiences enjoying and actively participating in the new artistic currents unfolding in Seoul during Kiaf Art Week.” Marking its fifth edition, the joint special exhibition ≪We Connect, Art & Future, Kiaf and INCHEON AIRPORT≫ will run from August 22 to September 17 at the Millennium Hall of Incheon International Airport. The exhibition spans beyond traditional painting, featuring experimental works with materials such as charcoal, pencil leads, and incense, as well as photography, sculpture, and a range of other media.

In addition, Kiaf Seoul is partnering with MediaArt SEOUL, the city’s urban exhibition platform, to launch a large-scale media art project. From September 1 to 19, works will be simultaneously screened at major downtown locations including Shinsegae Square, Digital Chosun Ilbo, Atelier Gwanghwa, and Haechi Madang Media Wall, transforming Seoul into a living canvas of media art.
