신사 블루스: 열 한개의 시선
도시는 하나의 풍경이 아니라 수많은 시선이 겹쳐 만들어지는 공간이다. 《신사 블루스: 여덟 개의 시선》은 이길이구 갤러리를 대표하는 8인의 작가가 각자의 감각과 언어로 오늘의 도시를 바라보는 전시이다. 회화와 조각, 설치 등 서로 다른 작업은 도시의 풍경과 시간, 기억을 각기 다른 방식으로 포착하며 하나의 도시를 여덟 개의 시선으로 확장한다. 프리즈 서울과 키아프로 전 세계 미술계의 시선이 서울에 머무는 계절, 《신사 블루스》는 강남 신사동의 이길이구 갤러리에서 대표 작가 MY Q를 비롯한 11인의 작가를 통해 서울의 또 다른 동시대를 제안한다. 서로 다른 열한 개의 시선은 도시의 리듬과 시간, 그리고 오늘을 살아가는 감각을 함께 그려낸다.
Sinsa Blues: Eleven Views
A city is shaped by countless ways of seeing. Sinsa Blues: Eight Views brings together eight artists from 2GIL29 Gallery, each offering a distinct perspective on the contemporary city. Through painting, sculpture, and installation, the exhibition explores urban landscapes, memory, and the passage of time from eight unique viewpoints. As the international art world gathers in Seoul for Frieze Seoul and Kiaf SEOUL, Sinsa Blues brings together eleven artists, including MY Q, at 2GIL29 Gallery in Gangnam's Sinsa district. Through eleven distinct artistic voices, the exhibition offers another perspective on contemporary Seoul—its rhythm, its passage of time, and the sensibility of urban life.
